Transparent Backgrounds or Cut-Outs
Transparent backgrounds are also good for
displaying product images on websites,
advertisements, catalogues, or any place where
you want to emphasize the focal part of the
photograph without the background or a white
box around the product.
Part of building collages is removing the
background from the photographs so that
people and/or objects can be grouped
together or made to stand out.
There are numerous ways to
remove backgrounds or create
cut-outs. The method(s) I use for
each image depends on the
image itself - contrast, focus,
colors, and shape of the
object(s). The better the
image the better the cut-out!
